What part will you play?

Alongside traditional building automation, the portfolio of our Siemens Building Technologies division also includes Siveillance, the innovative and flexible software security portfolio for use in critical infrastructure environments (e.g. with industrial customers, in airports or on university campuses). Intuitive risk management systems play a key role for effective alarm processing here. And that's where you come in:
As Product Manager you will have global responsibility for the Siveillance Viewpoint product, our risk management software which brings together incoming alarms (e.g. reported intrusion), processes them in an intelligent manner and guides users through how to deal with the risks. 
  • You will be responsible for the complete product lifecycle, from idea to market launch to discontinuation, using technical innovations to ensure you always have a competitive advantage and transforming this into commercial success 
  • Working in conjunction with sales, you will compile and evaluate new market opportunities and review the outlay and feasibility of these ideas together with development
  • You will support the agile development process and maximize the customer benefit while minimizing costs. To achieve this, you will host regular sprint demos, coordinate alpha tests and organize customer workshops
  • You will define the business model, price and marketing of the finished product, focusing in particular on communicating the customer benefit (value proposition)
  • Following the market launch you will continue to look after your product and to seek optimizations and new market opportunities – which takes us back to the second key point again

What you need to make real what matters.
  • You have successfully completed a course of studies in a technical or economics-related discipline, such as industrial engineering or business information technology
  • You also have extensive relevant experience as a Product Manager in a B2B environment
  • We would also like you to have worked in an agile development environment already, preferably internationally, though this is not essential 
  • You are a strong communicator and enjoy bringing together a variety of disciplines and levels in order to generate maximum benefits for everyone
  • You are fluent in English, enabling you to work in an international environment
