Job Description

What are my responsibilities ?

• Maximize market exploitation for Analytical Products portfolio Gas Analyzers and Gas Chromatography.
•Develop basic engineering for analytical solutions by conducting customer meetings for technical clarifications, site surveys, BOM, Gas compositions, all required materials for turn-key projects,…etc till finalizing tenders in negotiation phase.
•Provide required assistance for execution team during installation and commissioning phase.
•Provide required services for analytical products.
•Provide after sale support for customers for analytical products and follow-up repair and warranty cases.
• Pre-sales support of Analytical Products portfolio for all sales channels (expert knowledge to successfully fight against specialized competitors on a detailed product level).
• Knowledge on market segments, potentials, pricing, competitors and applications.
• Has direct access to all customers aligning with the sales representative.
• Developing the marketing mix (Price, Promotion, Place & Product) so as to satisfy the market needs & demand.
• Supporting & Providing Competitive edges of products portfolio over competition thru Sales Arguments or defense.
• Proper Communication to HQ (market surveys, reports, opportunities, financial status…etc).
• Supporting Logistics & Back office in order processing & offering phases.
• Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in key account end customers & assigned partner accounts 
• Lead solution development efforts that best address end customer needs.
• Support launch of new products & solutions and design of new business models.
• Conduct quantitative analysis to determine market size and share for various Siemens businesses; update and maintain data regularly.
• Collect and analyze market intelligence regularly to identify industry trends, competitive dynamics and customer requirements.

What are the requirements of the role ?

  • Degree in Measurement & Instrumentation or Chemical with knowledge in process analytical techniques
  • Demonstrated experience in analytical systems is essential coupled with a strong technical knowledge of the products and solutions offered by Siemens in this space
  • Good strategic planning, team management and communication skills
  • Excellent customer relation skills with proficiency in written and spoken English is required .
  • Strong ability to analyze data and proposes recommendations for local market
  • Experience in CRM tools
  • Knowledge about EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) in entrepreneurial spirit, sales and negotiation skills, high team orientation as well as in management and people skills.
